This shaped walnut rocker has been a long time in coming.  We posted the cherry prototype a couple of months ago.  This rocker was constructed from one slab of walnut from a tree reclaimed in the Porland, Oregon area.  The rockers have a cherry accent and the legs and back have ebony plugs.  We made sure that the chair reflects the original position of the sapwood in the slab with sapwood in the outside of the seat and arms.

We worked hard to make this chair as comfortable to sit in as it is beautiful to look at and touch.
